Legacy Is. was founded by Richard Kerton (Rich) — someone who has spent 20 years working in insurance, leading teams, building products, supporting customers, navigating and influencing the complex world of regulation and compliance to get better outcomes for real people.
But that’s only part of the story.
Rich has lived enough life to understand why protection really matters.He’s experienced change, challenge, and rebuilding first-hand.He knows what it feels like to have responsibilities on your shoulders, people who depend on you, people who look up to you, and has lived the moments where life takes an unexpected turn.
Rich believes that insurance should feel clear, honest, and human.It shouldn’t overwhelm you or let you down when you need it most.And it shouldn’t force you into choosing cover you don’t fully understand.
He started Legacy Is. to bring an openness, trust, clarity, and care back into the industry — and to build a place where people feel welcome, supported, and understood.A place where protection means something again.
